We are located a 10-minute walk from downtown, at the confluence of the Bow and Elbow Rivers. You can reach us easily from the vibrant communities of East Village and Inglewood.

Parking

Starting May 15, 2018, visitors to the Museum will be required to pay for parking. There will be 15-minute free parking with license plate registration.

Daytime Mon – Fri (06:00 – 18:00)

$6.00 for the first 7 hours (minimum purchase $6.00), $2.00 per ½ hour thereafter to a maximum of $10.00. Visitors must pay at least $6.00, regardless of how long they stay, up to seven hours.

Daytime Sat, Sun & Holidays (06:00 – 18:00)

$6.00 for the first 7 hours (minimum purchase $6.00), $2.00 per ½ hour thereafter to a maximum of $10.00. Visitors must pay at least $6.00, regardless of how long they stay, up to seven hours.

Purchases Everyday BETWEEN 16:00 – 06:00*

$1.00 per 1/2 hour to maximum of $4.00 (Minimum purchase $1.00).
*Daytime rates apply to all purchases made prior to 16:00 every day. Daytime rates apply on these purchases until 18:00.

Special Events:

During Special Events, as directed by Fort Calgary, there will be a $10 flat fee. Rates subject to change without notice.

Monthly Rate:

$150.00 (w/ GST $157.50)

Visitors can use the ParkPlus machines located outside the Museum. You can also pay for a session using the Virtual Pay system on the Calgary Parking Authority’s website. You can also download the ParkPlus phone app. Find more information at https://www.calgaryparking.com/

All ticket payments and ticket inquiries must be directed to the Calgary Parking Authority or by calling 403-537-7275.

NOTE: On Canada Day (July 1st), and a few other dates during our large outdoor concert events, our parking lot is closed to the public.

Transit

The City Hall LRT station is three blocks to the west of our site. You can also reach us by bus, via Routes 1, 302 or 411.
