Happy Birthday to you! Imagine a typical day in the life of the NWMP at Fort Calgary. Dress up as a NWMP recruit, take the oath, learn to salute, march, and drill! Explore images of the mounted police: their work, their home, their horses, the land and people they protected. Hunt for John Smith, the notorious cattle thief, and put him in jail! Make a pill box hat and take it home as a souvenir. The party also includes a nine minute video presentation of "Fort Calgary a Portrait", the use of our Mess Kitchen for birthday cake, etc and a birthday gift for the birthday child valued at $20.
