SUMMER CAMPS

Mondays & Tuesday in July and August:
Join the Ranks and experience a day in the life of an 1875 NWMP Officer. Learn to march, practice drills, take the oath and use your new skills to capture a whiskey trader and put him on trial. Uncover the story of Calgary’s only historic site with a hands-on archeological dig. Dress up and role play in historic costumes and meet some infamous Calgarians. Travel through time on the train to the West, settle in Calgary and build a log cabin. Enjoy indoor and outdoor historical activities, crafts, games while having lots of fun! (more info)

writing world’s most illustrious members, Ann Author, creator of the best-selling The
Penguin Code. But Pippa Prose, the gossip book writer, has a few tidbits to impart; Dee
Fenestrate, who has penned a few mysteries, has a pot-boiler in mind; & Cy Fie, the
science fi ction writer, is feeling eclipsed. When too many egos are squeezed into one
building, it becomes a vanity press. Murder might be a novel idea!

CONSTRUCTION: THE RIVERS STORM POND AND WETLAND


This storm pond and wetland will store and enhance storm water, prior to discharging into the Bow River. In addition to the 2-acre wetland, new pathways, viewpoints, and landscaping will be installed.
